The Collegiate Council is a group of young professionals in the Boston area who are passionate about education. The Council helps Boston Collegiate by fundraising for and administering the Edward M. Kennedy Scholarship for Alumni, educating their networks about what we do here, participating in the Career Symposium, and using their areas of expertise to help Boston Collegiate with data and other projects.
Mandy Drew

Mandy Drew is
the Associate Community Manager of Alleyoop, Pearson Education’s new online
college readiness network for teens. She’s currently working on Junior
Achievement initiatives and is bringing free math help to students at
Bird
Street
Community
Center
in
Dorchester
.
Previously, Mandy worked in production for PBS Kids’ Emmy-winning children's
series "Design Squad," was the Associate Producer of the 2011 MassChallenge
finalist "KickinKitchen.TV" with KidsCOOK Productions, and was a champion in the
field of closed captioning at the WGBH Caption Center. Mandy has always been
passionate about education, earning an Associate's degree in television
production from Lansing Community College, a Bachelor's degree in broadcasting
and cinematic arts from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Arts in
Media Arts from Emerson College.
Katie Martino
Cambridge Associates, Boston, MA.
Katie is a Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates. She provides investment advisory services to universities, museums, foundations, and private clients. She is a tutor for Year Up, an intensive transiting program that provides urban young adults with technical and professional skills, college credits, an educational stipend, and a corporate internship, and she coaches for MetroLacrosse in Dorchester. She is also involved in the Mayflower Foundation. Katie is a graduate of Harvard University.
Kelly Murphy
Cambridge Associates, Boston, MA.
Kelly is a Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates. She provides investment advisory services to universities, museums, foundations, and private clients. She is a volunteer with Citizen Schools, an organization that partners with middle schools to expand the learning day for children in low-income communities across the country. Kelly is a graduate of Colgate University.
Josh Muncey
Coldwell Banker, Jamaica Plain, MA.
Josh is a residential realtor in Jamaica Plain. Josh serves on the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and works on the Finance Committee for the DREAM Program, a mentoring program that pairs up college students with rural and urban youth. He also works with the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation’s Real Estate Committee and serves on the Zoning Board for the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council. Josh is a Big Brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Caroline Page
Bain & Company, Boston, MA.
Caroline is a strategy consultant at Bain & Company. Before business school, Caroline worked at Goldman Sachs, where she advised companies on interest rate risk management strategies, and then in institutional sales, covering large institutional investors for interest rate products. She has volunteered as a mentor with Student Sponsor Partners (SSP), an organization that helps underserved students graduate from high school and prepare for college. She is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School.
Scott Peppel
The Parthenon Group, Education Center of Excellence, Boston, MA.
Scott is an Associate at The Parthenon Group, a global strategy consulting firm. As part of the Education Center of Excellence, Scott assists in providing strategic advisory to education foundations, districts, non-profits and for-profit organizations in the education sector. Mr. Peppel also volunteers with Timilty Middle School and the Inspire program in Boston. He was previously an AmeriCorps Fellow and is a graduate of Duke University.
Alice Singh
Cambridge Associates, Boston, MA.
Alice is an Associate Consultant at Cambridge Associates, working with a number of nonprofit endowments, settlement trusts, and private families in advising on their investment portfolio asset allocation and manager selection. She taught science in East Palo Alto for two years and directed after school programs in Oakland, CA. Prior to her transition to investment consulting, she was a charter school teacher at South Shore Charter Public School in Norwell, MA. In addition to her work at BCCS, Alice is involved with Saheli – Friendship for South Asian Women, a non-profit that aims to improve economic prospects for immigrant women through literacy, computer, and citizenship training, and also to provide education on domestic violence. She graduated from Stanford University and earned her Master's in Education from UC Berkeley.
Jeff Thompson
Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, MA.
Jeff works at Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, a not-for-profit research and development laboratory focused on the design, development, and deployment of advanced technological solutions for our nation’s most challenging and important problems in security, space exploration, health care, and energy. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts and received his MS from Tufts University.
Jeffrey Weiss
Development Guild/DDI, Brookline, MA.
Jeff is the Special Assistant to the President of the Development Guild/DDI, a firm that provides counsel to nonprofit leaders via planning, fundraising, and executive searches. He was a Teach For America Corps Member in Greater New Orleans, where he taught 4th graders who had been expelled. He volunteers with Summer Search, a program that provides summer opportunities and year-round mentoring to resilient urban youth. He also volunteers with Land’s Sake, a nonprofit farm and educational center in Weston, MA. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. |
