Sibling Preference

Our Sibling Preference Policy allows siblings of currently attending students to receive priority over non-sibling applicants. For an entering 5th grader, a spot in the 5th grade is reserved for siblings who submit an application. For siblings applying to grades 6, 7 and 8, priority is given on the waiting list. However, despite the sibling preference, all siblings MUST submit an application and participate in the lottery. If we do not receive an application, siblings cannot be enrolled or placed on the waiting list.

Siblings must provide proof of their common biological parent (through birth
certificates from both siblings, a paternity order from the court, etc.) OR proof of a
legal adoption to receive the sibling preference. If proof is not received by the application deadline, the student will be entered into the lottery as a non-sibling applicant.
