     - BCCS will loan a copy of this book to each student. Please return it in August.

Required Book: How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster

     - Take notes and annotate your book (with post its if it is a borrowed book).

Required Book: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

     - Take notes and annotate your book (with post its if it is a borrowed book).

Writing:

     - Choose three chapters from Foster that you believe apply to Brave New World and write an analysis of how Huxley is using the technique or idea discussed in Foster’s chapter. Each response should be 1 page typed (approx.) and contain textual support from both sources. Use MLA parenthetical citation to indicate where in the text you found your examples.
