City of Boston Awarded Gates Foundation Grant

We are excited to share the news that yesterday the City of Boston was selected as one of seven cities nationwide to receive a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support collaboration between charter, district, and Catholic schools. BCCS has always had a deep commitment to partnering and collaborating with other schools to fulfill our charge as a charter school and to have an impact beyond our four walls. In all of the local press on the Gates Foundation grant, including The Boston Globe and Boston Business Journal, BCCS’s One Dorchester partnership with two other Dorchester high schools is held up as an example of our city’s commitment to collaboration.
