Student Enrollment

Welcome to Boston Collegiate Charter School!

Thank you for considering Boston Collegiate Charter School (BCCS) for your child’s education.  The mission of BCCS is simple yet ambitious: to prepare each student for college

BCCS is a tuition-free, public school, and students are admitted by random lottery.

We accept applications from students entering grades 5 through 10.  We do not discriminate and encourage all residents of Boston, including students with special needs and English Language Learners, to submit a lottery application. Admissions Lottery

BCCS is tuition-free and all students are enrolled through an open, public lottery.

BCCS held a lottery for students entering grades 5 through 10 on March 9, 2021. At this time, we are no longer accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.

Application

Who can apply?
Families must complete a common application by the application deadline to enter their child(ren) into the lottery. We encourage any family who is eligible to apply. Eligibility requirements are:

  • Any student who resides in Massachusetts can apply to BCCS. Priority is given to students who are Boston residents.
  • Priority is also given to those students who have current siblings attending BCCS.
  • The student must be entering the 5th – 10th grade in 2022-2023 School Year
  • We encourage all current students on the 2021-2022 Waitlist to reapply for the next school year as your current waitlist number will not rollover. Applying for next year will not impact your waitlist status for this year.

How can I apply?
Applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now open and can be accessed here. Upon completion, a confirmation email will be sent to you via Schoolmint.
