Welcome to Boston Collegiate Charter School!
Thank you for considering Boston Collegiate Charter School for your child’s education. The mission of Boston Collegiate is simple yet ambitious: to prepare each student for college.
Boston Collegiate is a tuition-free, public school, and students are admitted by random lottery.
We accept applications from students entering grades 5 through 10. We do not discriminate and encourage all residents of Boston, including students with special needs and English Language Learners, to submit a lottery application. To read more about our formal student enrollment policy for the 2021-2022 school year, please click here. We look forward to working with your family to ensure success in your child’s education!
Boston Collegiate is tuition-free and all students are enrolled through an open, public lottery.
We held a lottery for students entering grades 5 through 10 on March 9, 2021. At this time, we are no longer accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Our current waitlist will expire on February 15, 2022.
Who can apply?
Families must complete a common application by the application deadline to enter their child(ren) into the lottery. We encourage any family who is eligible to apply. Eligibility requirements are:
- Any student who resides in Massachusetts can apply to Boston Collegiate. Priority is given to students who are Boston residents.
- Priority is also given to those students who have current siblings attending BCCS.
- The student must be entering the 5th – 10th grade in 2022-2023 School Year
- We encourage all current students on the 2021-2022 Waitlist to reapply for the next school year as your current waitlist number will not rollover. Applying for next year will not impact your waitlist status for this year.
How can I apply?
Applications for the 2022-2023 school year are closed. Our random, public lottery was held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 and offers have been made.
Applications for the 2023-2024 school year will open in November 2022 on SchoolMint, which can be accessed here.
In the meantime, we encourage you to take a virtual tour!
